England were in all sorts of bother after losing four wickets in the powerplay before Joe Root and Sam Billings rescued them with a classy partnership. Root was run out for 55 but Billings was able to explode at the death to make 87 and launch the tourists up to 182/6. Windies were excellent up front with the ball and in the field, however those standards really slipped at the end and now they have a tough chase on their hands.

England have annihilated the Windies by 137 runs in St Kitts to seal the T20I series with a match to spare. Such a margin would have been unthinkable when the tourists were wobbling at 32/4 inside the powerplay, with Fabian Allen picking up two important early scalps. However Joe Root and Sam Billings rescued England with a partnership of 82 runs, with the latter making a career best 87 thanks to some late carnage. The hosts really lost the momentum in the second half of their fielding display as some sloppiness creeped into their game and that carried over into the batting effort. Wickets began tumbling and never stopped with Chris Jordan running through the middle order like a hot knife through butter, getting the ball to nip around at high pace. Just two men made it into double figures for the Windies, both of them making only 10, as they crumbled to the second lowest T20I score of 45 all out. The series and this long tour comes to an end on Sunday at this same venue.
