Ebadat is turned back-to-front, inside-out and upside-down by a lavishly swinging delivery from Umesh that would've been too good for some top order batsmen.

Bangladesh lost their last five wickets for just ten runs in a disastrous collapse in Indore. While Mushfiqur Rahim was at the crease it seemed as though they had a decent chance of posting a respectable score, but India's fast bowlers changed the complexion with a rapid spell either side of tea. First it was Mohammed Shami who got the big wicket with a jaffa, he followed it up with another next delivery and then Ishant Sharma followed suit by taking the edge with the first ball of the evening session. A run out and some lazy strokes contributed to the visitors downfall, and it could have been even worse for them if India's catching was better. It's tough to see how Bangladesh can compete after a total like that, early wickets tonight is the only thing that can keep them in it.

Ball tracking says it would've missed leg stump as well, oh dear. Bangladesh aren't doing themselves any favours.

Mohammed Shami will start the evening session on a hat-trick after his double-wicket burst has put the hosts in command of the First Test. At times Bangladesh have looked settled, but Kohli has always had a fresh bowler to turn to allowing him to constantly attack. Liton Das holds the key now for the visitors to scramble towards 200 this evening.

Day Two at Indore belongs to Mayank Agarwal who compiled a career best 243 in imperious fashion. Dominant against both spin and seam, the right-hander barely played a false shot and hit eight towering sixes. His partnership with Ajinkya Rahane (86) took the game away from Bangladesh before Ravindra Jadeja (60*) compounded their problems with a blistering cameo. India scored more than 400 runs in the day as the tourists struggled to either make inroads or limit scoring options. Bangladesh will need to show a big improvement from their first innings if they are to force the hosts to bat for a second time in the match. We'll see if they can do that when we join the action again in the morning.

India have completed a comprehensive victory over Bangladesh in the First Test, winning by the massive margin of an innings and 130 runs. Mushfiqur Rahim's dogged defiance forced the hosts to wait until the evening session to start their celebrations, however the result was never in doubt. India's pace battery of Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma were all superb with the ball throughout the match, while Mayank Agarwal was the star with the bat. The opener compiled his second Test double century as the tourists wilted in the field on Day Two. Mominul Haque will need to see a big improvement from his team for the day/night Test starting on Friday afternoon.
